Introduction

Throughout Scripture, those who experienced the power of God were those who earnestly sought Him. Moses desired to see the glory of God. David longed to dwell in the house of the Lord. Paul considered everything else to be worthless compared with knowing Christ.

God has never hidden Himself from those who sincerely seek Him. The Lord promises that those who hunger and thirst after righteousness shall be filled. Spiritual hunger is not a sign of weakness; it is evidence that our hearts recognise their need for God.

The world constantly competes for our attention, but the Holy Spirit continually calls us into deeper fellowship with the Father. As we draw near to Him, our desires begin to change, our minds are renewed, and our hearts become aligned with His will.

Seeking God is not merely an activity but it is a lifestyle. The more we seek Him, the more we discover His goodness, His wisdom, His faithfulness, and His love.

Prayer

Father, I thank You because You are a rewarder of those who diligently seek You. Thank You for the privilege of knowing You and experiencing the transforming power of Your presence.

Create within me a greater desire for You. Let every worldly distraction lose its influence over my life as my affection becomes firmly established in Christ.

Forgive me for every moment of complacency, neglect, and spiritual carelessness. Restore my passion for prayer, revive my love for Your Word, and strengthen my desire to walk closely with You.

According to Your Word, let those who hunger and thirst after righteousness be filled. Let my soul continually long for Your presence, Your wisdom, and Your truth.

Teach me to seek You early, to seek You consistently, and to seek You wholeheartedly. Let my life become a testimony of what You can accomplish through a surrendered heart.
